Epworth League Convention Set for Apollo Next Week
Annual meeting of Islairsville District of the Epworth League will be at Apollo Wednesday through Sunday. Rev. John H. Willey of Pittsburgh opens the session with a sermon. James J. Stenderson of town is district president and Miss Carolyn Clawson of town is secretary. The program covers devotional services, lectures, and social and spiritual activities led by ministers and lay leaders from Blairsville, Johnstown, Vandergrift, Monongahela, Apollo, and other areas. A special feature will be music throughout the convention.
