Pin in appendix complicates Chicago doctors operation
Drs. Hipp of Chicago and Peacock of Darlington Ind performed a difficult appendectomy on Mrs. Quincy Peterson of Wirkpatrick for appendicitis. The diseased appendix displaced abnormally and contained a brass pin that had failed to perforate. A rare case noted by medical statistics.
