Harvey Marshall of Blatraville, brother of County Commissioner Jas M Marshall, was struck by a Hecht engine near Saliaburg Avonmora on Monday while inspecting near a tower for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He died an hour later from internal injuries. He leaves his wife and daughter Clara, plus brothers Frank and others and sisters Mrs Oliver Griffen and Mrs G W Roof.

McCombs Buried Near Old Home After Jail Death
Remains of John McCombs were taken from the county jail after he died by his own hand in his cell early Wednesday. He was interred at Hiders Ridge after funeral services led by Rev. Hepler. McCombs had been charged with beating his wife to death with the butt of a gun in their home near West Lebanon on January 23.
