Sisters Reunited After Three Year Separation
Former Lovejoy resident Mrs. H R Waddell and her sister Mrs. Elizabeth Bullman were reunited at Grove City after thirty years apart. Waddell, 50, residing with her son in law and daughter, and Bullman, 76, had been separated since the death of Waddell's husband. The reunion followed a visit arranged after Waddell learned of a Mrs Gullman in Brain, about 20 miles away. Willis A Houck, son of Lovejoy residents, houses Waddell during summer vacation.

Mine Foremen Certificates Exam Opens in Municipal Building
Sixty one applicants take examinations for mine foremen certificates in the bituminous mines of Pennsylvania as tests begin in the Municipal building. The three day session is supervised by the twenty fifth district examination board with Thomas Lowther, William Wardroy, and George Taylor serving as members.
