Three Long Beach police officers Michael Callahan Robert Hamby and Paul Steed had their firings upheld by a unanimous Civil Service Commission after a six day hearing. CB radio hobbyist slain in Long Beach home
Marion E. Dance a 55 year old Long Beach resident and known CB radio enthusiast was found beaten to death Wednesday in his 355 East 55th Street home. Neighbors reported two men with nicknames Blue Eyes and Mountain Spider had attended his party the night before. Police sought two caucasian men in their twenties for questioning.

Commandos break siege at Jordan hotel raid
