Phantom killer terrorizes Southland in reign of shootings

Corresponsient Norwalk The Phantom, a 28 year old railroad switchman, confessed to killing one woman and wounding four others since August 27 1951. Evan Thomas of Los Nietos led detectives to shooting scenes, re enacted crimes, and provided a full confession to the district attorney.
