Commentary on Revels at Cal State Long Beach
A theatergoer critiques Masque and Revels at Cal State Long Beach summer repertory. The show blends Elizabethan masque, a shortened morality play, and Shakespeare parodies with student and faculty contributions. The critic notes youth focus, uneven staging, and mixed emotional impact but calls the evening memorable.
