Moriarity Helps Sherlock Celebrate 116th Birthday
London marked Sherlock Holmes as 116 with a birthday dinner at the Charing Cross Hotel hosted by the Sherlock Holmes Society of London. Members from groups in Copenhagen and Tokyo joined British figures including Dame Jean Bromer and Lord Gore-Booth. The event, amid spoof history and playful debate, noted Holmes’ birth year as 1854 with uncertain month and day.
