Polanski Tours Murder House After Tate Slaying
Polanski visited the Benedict Canyon mansion with Life Magazine writer Thomas Thompson, inspecting the bedroom and living room to find clues police may have missed. He described Sharon Tate as asleep during the Aug. 8 killings and recounted the bloodstained doorway and the attempted escape. Also noted were victims Jay Sebring, Wojciech Frykowski, Abigail Folger, and Steven Parent, plus guests and watchers who stayed at the house.
