Williams piks death in Vancouver memory of Inde boy
Williams, a former Inde boy and grandson of T Williams, died in Vancouver British Columbia after months of illness. He was a civil railroad worker, had lived in Eugene with family, and leaves a widow, mother, and siblings. Funeral arrangements are via T B Williams and A F A M lodge with burial planned in the old English cemetery. Now awaiting arrival of the body Saturday morning.

Joseph Bezanson, 82, died October 24 after a three week illness. Born June 24, 1840 in Liverpool Nova Scotia he moved from Virginia Missouri Oklahoma to Oregon in 1907 settling in Independence. The Cobbs and Mitchell sawmill at Walsett will resume operations about November 10 after over two months of shutdown for a refuse burner rebuild and mill alterations.
