Jury verdict set aside in Hughes suit against Dallas Apostolic group
Wilbur Hughes won 2500 against Frank Holman and others, later set aside by Judge Belt who found no evidence of conspiracy or valid cause of action. Hughes plans appeal to the state supreme court. The report also notes a separate guilty finding for Robert Brown in a malicious destruction case, a stalled Dallas city case over sidewalks with Pugh and Sauer, and the moonshiner B F Mills leaving the county jail after sentencing.
