Mrs. Amanda Nelson born October 13, 1851 in Indiana died at age 59 in Independence after living in Gale's Creek Oregon and Washington with five weeks with her son William. She left eight children and survived by husband and three sons. funeral led by Rev. Osborne at Baptist church. Also ad for 35 acres with 25 in hops near Independence at $225 per acre. Clyde H.
