City hires engineer for permanent grade and park lines

The Independence city council hired engineer Mr Kelsey from McMinnville to design a permanent citywide grade, extend it to 20 intersections, and provide a map of property lines. The move aims to uniform streets and sidewalks, with plans to widen parks and narrow streets at the next meeting.
