A group of 247 California enlisted men will train at Oregon Agricultural College in auto mechanics carpentry blacksmithing and wireless. Commanded by a military officer they will drill two hours daily. Training ends August 15 when a new 500 man unit begins. Barracks and mess halls will be erected to house the extra men during college work.
