German agriculturists visit Hop yards in our city

Clark Club and the Independence Improvement League hosted German delegates from German agricultural societies during a Tuesday visit. They toured the hop yard of Kela Neils, were photographed with local women, and returned to a decorated train car amid a large crowd. A welcome address by H. F. Ridders and a program of music and fraternal readings followed at the Artisan hall.
