Alexander Kerr aged 59 died at his Parker Oregon home on Monday May 18 1908 at about 445 PM He was born March 8 1844 in Everton Fayette Indiana He married Mary Baker in Plymouth Indiana and came to Oregon that year Three children survived with his widow One son and infant brother Henry are buried at Buena Vista cemetery Sayner the Independence Methodist pastor led funeral rites and A R pallbearers mourned his death He was shot at his gate by a neighbor in a sorrowful final scene mourners remember him.
