Sheriff finds mash and arrests Lawrence Griffith
Lawrence Griffiths of the Eepville district south of town was arrested last Saturday night by Sheriff John W. Orr and deputies on possessing intoxicating liquor. A quantity of mash was secured. Griffith was arraigned before Justice R. W. Baker, pleaded not guilty and was placed under $500 bonds. Trial date to be set before Justice Baker.

Drainage Tour To Inspect Oregon Wetlands Projects

Patterson Family Reunion in Dallas Oregon Marked by 81st Birthday
Special to Enterprise from Dallas Oregon May 80 1922 the Patterson family reunion honored Mr and Mrs J A Patterson the aging parents of a large clan. Born in Illinois and Missouri the couple moved to Oregon in 1853 and 1858 respectively. The event in Dallas city park celebrated grandma s 81st birthday with a large dinner and stories of the ten children and many grandchildren. A son Frank G Patterson fell ill en route but visits followed in Salem after the reunion. The gathering featured multiple Patterson families from Oregon Washington and Idaho with numerous descendants listed.
