J M Crowley Dies In This City At 73
J M Crowley died at his home in this city on Monday January 25 at age 73. Born in Missouri in 1836, he came to Oregon at age 10 with his parents, married Louise J Weddle in 1801, and had ten children, six surviving. He served in the 1855 Indian War and joined the Baptist church in 1895. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church and he was buried in Monmouth cemetery.
