Murphy reports horses sold and property listings. Community events include a Washington’s Birthday ball, church services, and revival meetings. several sales, repairs, and farm notices.
The Commercial Club met Tuesday in the council chambers to consider electrifying the Southern Pacific railroad on this side of the river. Resolutions were adopted per railroad officials’ request from a recent Independence meeting. Improved train service was debated and action urged for immediate action.
