Union meetings with Rev Taylor and Prof Leonard begin January 2 in the church auditorium. Regular Calvary Presbyterian services resume with Dr Dunsmore delivering Ruth series installment.
Articles of agreement were signed for a ten round bout to be staged at the auditorium next Monday night. Dr. R. K. Duganne and Hugh Evans contest the championship, with Tom Fitchard and Moss Walker acting as their backers. Fitchard says the bantamweights are evenly matched and odds are not clearly in favor of either fighter. Duganne is known in the Willamette valley from Forest Grove, while Evans is less known locally.
