Prizes in Cash For Best Stock At Portland Auction

Portland Livestock Exchange offers cash premiums for top Christmas cattle shipped to the Portland Union Stock Yards. Awards include best car loads of steers and cows, best single steer and cow, with limits on headcount. Cattle judged December 14 morning, sold that afternoon by judges from Portland Carlton and Gammie. Northwest cattlemen urged to participate as part of developing regional livestock industry.
