New roles such as yell leader Joe Watt and Jessie Paul Bianiot are noted, along with planned literary societies and a girls glee club. A cross country winner was Caye Morris in October, and Rolland Sherwood, an athlete, died in a woods accident.

Queen bees should be ordered early due to limited supply. A. G. Sanford, president of the Central Oregon Beekeepers Association, visited the college for the Hort show and fruit growers’ convention, and formerly led the Oregon State Beekeepers’ association.
