In a tight contest the high school second team beat Public School 16 to 15. Seaman pitched two innings, Weddle five, and Kelley two. Earlier Public School had won the first game 16 to 8. Appendicitis Operations Reported at Independence Hospital

Horst Car Stolen From Commercial Street Salem
A Ford runabout belonging to the E. Clemens Horst Company was stolen from Commercial Street in Salem on Thursday night. Police were notified but have not recovered the vehicle. Harry Ord reported the loss and initially suspected a prank as he waited back at the capital. The car is described as a current year model.
