The Independent Enterprise changes owners this week with Z. Cy Kimball taking over from W. Clark as manager and part owner. Kimball, a long-time newspaperman with Pennsylvania and Michigan experience, is expected to raise local influence and patronage while Clark stays to focus on wood sales and local mill output. The transition aims to produce a one-way paper serving the city, with Kimball assuming ownership after April 30th.
