Hyde Park realtors briefed on CHA rent subsidy lease
Hyde Park-Kenwood Community Conference hosted a May 13 luncheon for 20 local realtors to learn CHA leasing terms. Harry J. Schneider of CHA outlined options. Lake Village Associates and Amalgamated Clothing Workers agreed to provide about 50 units.

The Department of Urban Renewal will cover the cost of a parking lot at 53rd and Lake Park. Frank Zundel said DUR will build the lot to be run by the city parking bureau after an land agreement for Harper Court. A De Leuw Cather feasibility study was requested. ordinance delays followed council action in January. The land has been vacant for four years awaiting expansion.
