A new condominium to buy a 17 unit, three story building at Kenwood and 48th is being formed. Eleven commitments exist for apartments priced 11 500 to 17 000 with Hyde Park Savings loaning 2500 to 3000 per unit for rehab and exterior work. Down payments run about 20 percent.
The Chicago Retrospective group show opens Friday May 22 at Hyde Park Art Center 5236 Blackstone and runs through June 27 featuring Ralph Arnold Miriam Brofsky Alice and Don Baum Evelyn Statsinger Vytautas Viskus Myoko Ito and Charles Reynolds among others. Opening reception May 22 from 8 to 10 pm with public invited. Regular hours 1 to 4 pm daily.
