U. C. group to take geological trip
A University of Chicago team led by Alfred M. Ziegler will travel in two campers through Cape Cod Nova Scotia Newfoundland and New Brunswick and along the St Lawrence Estuary this summer in search of the Proto Atlantic sedimentary and volcanic record. The expedition spans 6000 miles and aims to trace ancient continental movement and connections between Europe Scotland Wales and North America with Newfoundland as a key site.
