DUR plans to rezone West Hyde Park parcels
The Department of Urban Renewal introduced a city council ordinance to rezone parcels between 52nd and 54th streets and between Drexel and Berkeley for a residential planned development tied to the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. The plan includes a new outpatient clinic, labs, student housing, and 400-plus offstreet parking spaces, with 150000 annual patient visits projected.
