Epton Seeks Sixth Term in 24th District Race
Assistant Minority Leader Bernard Epton announced on November 30 he will run for a sixth term in the Illinois General Assembly from the 24th District. He received unanimous ward committeemen endorsement and aims to elect two Republicans in the district amid party goals to regain control and oppose higher taxes. Epton, a Chicago representative, is completing his fifth House term and currently serves as Assistant Minority Leader.

Currie to visit all public schools in 24th district

Tenants at 5335 45 S Kimbark facing relocation amid a multi unit demonstration program. John T McGarry owner of K and G Realty says four tenants were evicted for nonpayment.
