Huntley High School Holds Baccalaureate and Commencement
The Huntley High School baccalaureate was held in the gym with Mrs. LeRoy Marks on the organ and Father Day delivering the sermon and invocation. Commencement followed Tuesday evening with Rev. Sue Eggers daughter of Mr and Mrs Herbert Eggers of Myrtle Street Huntley was chosen first runner up in the Harvard Milk Day Queen contest held June 7 at Harvard High School Field House due to rain. Deb orah Brady 17 daughter of Mr and Mrs Richard Brady was the winner. Eggers was presented by WREX TV president and was introduced as president of the Student Council GAA church choir and a church member.

Huntley Band Ends Season With Camp in Wisconsin
Sixty Huntley High School band students attended a two day camp at George Williams Camp Williams Bay Wisconsin near Lake Geneva last week. They practiced six hours daily focusing on marching techniques and music memorization for Harvard Milk Day parade held on June 7. Students paid their own expenses and enjoyed swimming boating tennis volleyball golf and other recreation in leisure time. Continued on page 2.
