At the Sioux County Fair on September 11 12 and 18 the Boy's and Girl's tent offers a special exhibit area. The Fair Association invites all attendees including parents and friends to visit and see what the boys and girls are doing.
Sioux County Fair invites corn judging contest for boys
Sioux County boys can enter a corn judging contest at the fair with two samples to compare and explanations for choosing three ears. Eleven cash prizes are offered by Hon. Garret Klay. Eligibility spans ages ten to twenty from Sioux County. entries due at the Boys and Girls Tent for Friday’s fair afternoon. A runaway incident near Doon left Dick Gostenink with a broken left arm but he is recovering. The Interstate Fair in Sioux City is expanding visitor services including an information bureau hospital ambulance and trained nurses onsite.
