Santa arrives Saturday November 30 at 2 p.m. escorted by Hubbard Police to the square workshop. The Hubbard Volunteer Fire Department parade car will join. Mrs Kerrigan veteran News staffer dies in Hubbard
Maude J. Kerrigan of 806 West Liberty Street died of a heart attack at home on Tuesday November 19. Funeral services were held Friday November 2 at Harder Funeral Home with Rev. Philip T. Thorne officiating. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery. She was born July 3, 1886 in Hubbard and spent life here. Her husband Anthony died in 1918. Survived by three daughters Mae Linn Toledo Mary McClelland Sarah Strautiff Hubbard a son Myron A. Hubbard seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Hubbard schools approve 1.6 million bond issue plan
The Hubbard school board on November 19 authorized selling bonds totaling 1.6 million dollars for improvements after voters approved a 3.6 mill bond issue in the November general election by 3,000 to 2,404.
