Hubbard man builds his own airplane in basement
Jack Hubbard, a plant engineer for Sherwin Williams, began a Long-EZ aircraft project in his Hubbard home basement in 1980 with Paul Ross. The craft is over 80 percent complete and moved to the garage due to its 27-foot wingspan. When finished it could reach 200 mph with a 2300 mile range, with about 16 thousand dollars invested.
