D L Metzger, longtime educator and former Hubbard Public School supervisor, retires after 33 years with Lowellville Schools where he last led Lowellville High School. Citizens schedule Metzger Day on Sunday July 29 at the school auditorium with a 4 p.m program and 5 p.m open house. Metzger is married to Ruth Loveless of Hubbard a former choir director.
