13 year old Dean Millman cycles across the country at about 50 miles a day visiting Youngstown and Oil City along Route 62. He rides a 10 speed bike and carries $55 started in May. Dean plans to reach Williamstown this week then rest with friends before a third cross country trip. He stays with fire stations for lodging and praises eastern hospitality while noting Illinois and Pennsylvania hills pose a challenge. He aims to be a high school freshman upon return.

Trumbull County Health Commissioner Dr. T A Minahan reports one rabid dog this year and praises owner response to inoculation calls. Golf Course Permit Sought in Hubbard Township Hearing Set
