Computer classes for businesses at Hubbard Library

Hubbard Public Library earns a State Library grant to run a six week program for current or aspiring business owners. Classes meet Mondays or Wednesdays from 6 30 to 8 15 p m starting the week of Jan 4 with instruction on typing mail merge databases Quickbooks First Step Review for Business Loans cash flow and profit or loss planning. Registration limited to four per class by calling 534 3512 or visiting the library. No prior computer knowledge needed.

Labor-management workshop scheduled in Mahoning Valley

The Mahoning Valley Labor Management Citizens Committee will sponsor a workshop titled Building an Effective Labor Management Team on Thursday, December 17 at the Avalon Inn. Fees are 50 for MVLMCC members and 65 for non members, with breakfast lunch and workshop materials included. Reservations by December 15 at 747-5622.
