Hubbard Nears Water Purchase Agreement With Shenango Valley
Hubbard plans to buy water from Shenango Valley Water Co following favorable rate studies. Mayor Albert Sauline Jr. told council that state utilities approval is near, predicting a final decision by late January 1992. The town also approved Erie Street zoning for an apartment project and will skip a current round of state funding, awaiting the next in mid 1992.

Hubbard Township trustees voted unanimously on December 7 to back the final Trumbull County 911 plan despite fire chief Robert Strachan and audience members urging a ballot vote. The plan, projecting cost savings through dispatch consolidation, hinges on 60 percent county support and state start-up funding. local costs could drop 36,000 to 50,000 annually after start-up.
