Liberty couple announces the engagement and wedding of Sharon Darlene Klemann to James L. Propst. The July 23 ceremony will take place at New Life Lutheran Church Liberty with a reception at United Steelworkers Hall. The bride is a 1982 Liberty High School graduate and McDonald's cashier. Free summer concerts in Cortland at Packard Music Hall
Trumbull County offers free concerts this summer funded by the Music Performance Trust Funds in cooperation with Local 118 Warren Federation of Musicians. Held on Thursday evenings through September 1, the June and July lineup includes Rex Taneri Orchestra, Local 118 Concert Band, Sammy Vannuccci Orchestra, Doug Hartzell Dixieland Band, and Bob Furney Orchestra. Attendees are advised to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Warren area 4-H members received county and state recognition at the 1983 countywide 4-H Foods interview event.
