Howland trustees heard Bolindale’s five day Summer Homecoming will be cancelled this year due to a volunteer shortage and weak economy. Pearl Donahue. long-time organizer, said revenues had funded park upgrades and community projects including fire department equipment and a pavilion in Bolindale Park.

Howland trustees approve contracts and levies
Howland trustees approved road and fire contracts retroactive to April 1 1983 giving 50 cent per hour raises and $2 a month clothing allowances. Police contract awaits ratification.
