Cortland Savings expands drive in hours
Cortland Savings and Banking Company President Rodger W. Platt announced that starting August 24 three offices will offer extended drive in hours. The Cortland main office and Brookfield Branch will be open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Windham drive in will run Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday morning hours remain at all seven locations for banking customers.

Dermer to enter Air Force from Howland High School
Robert J. Dermer Jr from Allyson SE Howland has enlisted in the U S Air Force under the delayed enlistment program. A 1980 Howland High School graduate, he will begin regular service November 25 and train in basic and mechanical fields while earning credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Canfield Fair Hosts Juggling Clinics by Ringling Bros Act
Ringling Brothers circus will run two juggling clinics at the Fine Arts Building during the 1981 Canfield Fair. A nephew of the late Joe Flynn will demonstrate tosses and judge a beginner competition on Sunday Sept 6 at 2 30 p.m. Free public event with a trophy for the best aspiring tiger. Special children’s classes at 2 p.m. Sept 3 and 4 for 8 to 10 year olds conducted by Fine Arts staff. Registration by post card to Fine Arts Department Canfield Fair, Canfield Ohio 44406.
