Mrs. Krauss explains the Kentucky relief effort aiding counties with clothing, food, seed, and furniture. Volunteers unload at Route 82 in front of S and J Ideal Food Store, distributing one holler at a time after signups. The program travels to five Kentucky counties yearly, aided by Porinchak's Garden World seed donations and Army trucks in 1967. Families retain pride, receiving help without wholesale rebuilding.
