Two Hurt In Fulton Road Car Crash Near Hope
A red Buick ran off Fulton Road four miles from Hope after losing control. Bertha Lee Warren of Shreveport La suffered a neck injury and Fred Velvin of Washington Ark faced cuts and bruises. Warren remained hospitalized awaiting X rays. Velvin said speed caused the crash, which sent the car tumbling off a 12 foot embankment. The injured man is brother of Hope Storks pitcher John Velvin. A passing motorist transported them to the hospital.
