State gas licenses required in Arkansas
The Building Safety Division of the Arkansas Department of Health announces that state natural gas licenses are now required for installing gas piping and appliances except ranges and stores. Licenses include supervising gas fitter and gas trainee registration, with practical work by gas fitters under supervision, and may be obtained without examination if applied for before January 1, 1976 with evidence of bona fide gas fitting work. Applications are available from city inspectors, gas utility officers, or by writing the division at 4815 West Markham Street, Little Rock, AR 72201.
