City Clerk Mrs Reynerson resigns to join Southern Baptist Assembly

Edward Trimm 29 of Searcy was caught Tuesday by sheriff deputies near the Little Red River east of Heber Springs. He was on foot. James L Estes 18 of Memphis was arrested Monday near Heber Springs. They got out of the jail by sawing through bars of their cell.

Fatal injuries in Horatio area two-vehicle crash
C. C. Buck Edmonson, 63, of Horatio Sevier County died from injuries suffered Tuesday night in a two car collision near Horatio Arkansas. Edmonson was a state Revenue Department inspector. Walter A. DeShazo, 19, of Horatio, drove the other car. his three occupants were not fatally injured.
