Arkansas Consumer Research released a consumer voting comparison ranking senators and representatives. Dale Bumpers led with 64 percent, Hammerschmidt 0, McClellan 14, with Alexander 45 and Thornton 45 and Mills 27. The study awards 100 percent best, 0 percent worst across 14 Senate and 11 House votes on consumer issues. Absences affected Bumpers score, according to spokesman Glenn Nishimura.
