Oklahoma Bus Hijacker Holds Woman Then Escapes
A Muskogee County jail escapee hijacked a Continental Trailways bus near Gore Oklahoma late Monday night and took a hostage who was later found unharmed. The 42 year old J W Hunnicutt fled after forcing the driver to divert the bus from Interstate 40. Police reported the hijacker boarded in Fort Smith Arkansas after buying a ticket in Little Rock Arkansas.

The mother of a 2 month old boy who died of starvation is charged with manslaughter. Carolyn Frieson 19 of Hope was charged Monday in the death of her son Jackie Frieson who died Sunday at a hospital. Bond set at 2500. she is jailed in Hempstead County.

Little Rock artist Maurice Kellogg donates a 40x60 inch acrylic titled Sam Houston and Jim Bowie at Old Washington to the Pioneer Washington Restoration Foundation.
