Recreation schedule outlines city funding for upgrades

Rebels are Driven Back Near Kompong Chhnang
Cambodian government troops reported driving Khmer Rouge insurgents two miles back from Kompong Chhnang, with armored units killing about 30 rebels as fighting pushed west and northwest of the provincial capital. Rebels still held a six mile stretch of Highway 5 north of the town as another government column moved to engage.

The Dominican government suspended talks with terrorists holding American diplomat Barbara Hutchison and six others in the Venezuelan Consulate.
