Kelley lends new style to hearings in Washington
Ed Kelley surprised the Wa tergate hearings audience by announcing his bid for the U S presidency from a semi reclining pose as police dragged him from the room. The hearings, chaired by Sam Ervin with members Baker Talmadge Inouye Montoya Gurney and Weicker, unfold as a quiet archeology seminar rather than a televised circus. Senator Baker, 47, with a polished border state drawl, stands out as a potential 1976 GOP contender.
