Nixon Estate Upgraded for President’s Protection
The White House says over four years more than 100000 in improvements at President Nixon’s San Clemente California estate were requested by the Secret Service for protection. Upgrades include a new electric heating system a 3360 storage shed more than 50000 in brick redwood fences and a 13000 bulletproof windscreen.

New Hope Telephone Directory Out In 1973
The 1973 Hope telephone directory will be delivered from May 29 through June with over 8 650 copies mailed to customers. Listings total about 5 500, up from 5 380 in 1972, plus 164 white pages and yellow pages versus 141 last year. Bodcan listings are included and extra directories were printed for new customers and libraries. Delivery completion is expected by June 1.

SAIGON AP The South Vietnamese government accepted in principle proposals to halt fighting in Vietnam and asked for changes while offering counter proposals.
