Should Mother Marry Dorothy Dix Advice Column
Dear Miss Dix discusses whether a widow with children should remarry to help manage parenting. It argues a mother must blend softness and discipline, sacrifice personal desires, and notes that children often push back on marriage but may benefit in the long run as they marry and leave home. The column endorses remarriage as a solution to the mother in law problem and family strain.
